Apple has released MacOS Catalina beta 10 too users enrolled in the beta testing programs for the next major Mac system software release.

Presumably MacOS Catalina beta 10 focuses on bug fixes and improvements to refine the operating system as the final release date nears.

MacOS Catalina includes a variety of new features and changes, including Sidecar to allow an iPad to function as an external display for the Mac, revised Photos app, a revised Reminders app, Screen Time for Mac, the inclusion of a “Find My” app for Mac, the loss of 32-bit application support, stronger system level security mechanisms, the splitting of iTunes into separate apps for Music, Podcasts, and TV, iOS and ipadOS device management done through the Finder, and many other smaller changes and features.

Mac users running MacOS Catalina beta can find MacOS Catalina beta 10 available to download now from the “Software Update” section of System Preferences.

Anyone can run MacOS Catalina right now through the public beta program, though doing so is not recommended for most users because beta system software is less stable than final versions. If that interests you, you can learn how to install MacOS Catalina public beta here.

Apple has said that MacOS Catalina would become finalized and available in October, it will be a free download available for any Mac compatible with MacOS Catalina 10.15

Separately, Apple released iOS 13.1.2 and iPadOS 13.1.2 updates, along with an update to watchOS today.
